Dani Breitinger-Blatt joined HDR UK from the Francis Crick Institute to lead the delivery of our national science portfolio. She is responsible for working across our national research priorities to bring together our health impact programmes. Prior to this, Dani held roles at Macmillan Cancer Support, Public Health England and Diabetes UK, focused on clinical strategy and health improvement projects to deliver whole system change.

Dani’s own research background is in health behaviour change in cancer and stroke survivors, as well as athletic performance in individual’s with chronic conditions. In her spare time Dani competes in triathlon and is always excited to talk all things health data.
