Chichi is a medical student at Newcastle University with a strong interest in addressing health inequalities, particularly in maternal care. Her research into racial disparities in maternal healthcare has deepened her commitment to addressing these issues. Additionally, Chichi is passionate about the role of AI in healthcare, specifically in mitigating biases within its use.
Through this internship, Chichi aims to gain hands-on experience in health data science research, contribute to projects focused on health disparities, and build her professional network. Outside of her academic work Chichi is involved in rowing, having been part of the GB Rowing Development Programme and currently rowing with the Newcastle University team.
