After completing a PhD in geophysics Branwen became a Research Software Engineer at Invenia Labs, writing scientific software to simulate and optimise electricity grids. She joined HDR UK as a Senior Research Software Engineer in March 2023. Branwen is passionate about writing sustainable software and connecting researchers with the data they need to solve real world problems.
