Bradley joined Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) as a Product Owner for Health Data Software in January 2024. He will mainly be working on the Cohort Discovery Tool that aims to accelerate the trustworthy use of data to enable discoveries that improve lives.

Brad has spent the last 10 years in data focused Product Management roles across both vendor and in-house development teams in the London area. Some highlights include delivering cloud-based data platform solutions to serve insights into social care delivery for users of patient and medication management software in care homes; upgrading patient management systems at a health technology startup to improve user experience and reduce security risks; and leading a team of data scientists to discover data products across a large digital transformation at a global private medical insurer.

Prior to that Brad spent 13 years in data analytical and scientific roles in NHS Scotland, during which time he completed a master’s in software technology and a PhD in data linkage for pharmacovigilance (in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen and part of the Scottish Health Informatics Programme (SHIP)). He also helped to establish the Electronic Data Research and Innovation Service (eDRIS) which is now part of Public Health Scotland.
