Annie is in her final year of a BSc in biomedical science at the University of Manchester, with a strong interest in bioinformatics, health data science, and public health. Throughout her degree, she has developed a solid foundation in statistical programming and data analysis using R and Python. Annie is particularly interested in how data can be used to reduce health inequalities and improve patient outcomes.
Through this internship with the ONS, Annie hopes to build on her technical skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how national data is used to shape public health strategies. She is especially excited to learn from experts in the field and contribute meaningfully to real-world, data-driven health research.
