Anna joined Health Data Research UK as Public Engagement and Communications Manager in May 2024. She oversees the organisation’s approach to public engagement with health data research and leads the communications working group for the Public Engagement with Data Research Initiative (PEDRI).

With 10 years of experience in science communication and public engagement, she has previously worked at the British Science Association managing the public programme for the British Science Festival, overseeing grant programmes for audiences under-represented in science and championing equality, diversity and inclusion. Her work has also involved supporting environmental scientists at the Environment Agency to develop their science communication skills and share their work as well as managing academic medical research journals.
