Anna is an Early Career Health Data Scientist in the BHF Data Science Centre, providing data management and curation support within the national Trusted Research Environments.
Prior to joining the BHF Data Science Centre, Anna was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Edinburgh. Here, she worked with the Generation Scotland cohort on a number of projects investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on population health and wellbeing.
Anna has a PhD in Translational Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh in which she focused on understanding the relationship between inflammation, DNA methylation and cognitive ability.
