Anna is an Impact Strategy Consultant and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist with a career exploring and advising on effective ways to tackle health and social inequalities. Her experience ranges from strategic research to inform the development of mass media health campaigns, through to capacity building support for small frontline charities working on improving health and wellbeing outcomes for underserved communities.
She currently works as a charity development partner with funders including the Lloyds Bank Foundation and City Bridge Foundation, specialising in supporting their grantees to embed lived experience in strategy and service development. In this role, she has worked closely with charities led by people with lived experience of the issue they are trying to address. She is also a trustee of London Catalyst, a charitable funder dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Londoners.
Anna brings together technical MEL expertise with lived experience of navigating long-term health conditions both personally and as a carer. She serves as a lay member on a NICE Technology Appraisal Committee and contributes patient and public voice through involvement with the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, Imperial College NHS Trust and the Epilepsy Research Institute. As a member of the Public Advisory Board, she is committed to helping HDR UK ensure its priorities, decisions, and research genuinely reflect diverse public perspectives and deliver meaningful improvements in health and care.
