Anita is an undergraduate student completing a degree in biological sciences, passionate about bridging the gap between data science research and practical clinical tools. Her recent project focused on accessibility, where she worked on translating a large digital handwriting dataset from patients with Alzheimer’s disease into an intuitive web interface for clinical data analysis. Anita’s long-term career aspirations lie in healthcare research,  and this internship is providing an invaluable opportunity to strengthen her analytical reasoning and communication skills. Working on this project has allowed her to learn first hand how to package data into accessible, real-world solutions that can improve patient outcomes.
