Senior Programme Manager (Big Data for Complex Disease) at Health Data Research UK (HDR UK)
Dr Alexis Webb is Senior Programme Manager of the Big Data for Complex Disease Research Driver Programme overseeing the day-to-day running of the programme.
Alexis brings 8 years of strategic and operational experience in research funding and programme management with a previous focus on cancer early detection and data. She is passionate about building a multidisciplinary community of researchers and key stakeholders across the healthcare sector who are interested in applying their skills to get the most out of health data and improve outcomes for patients and public health.
Alexis’s responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Co-Directors and Theme Leads to lead the programme.
- Liaising with all partner institutions on spend, resourcing, logistics and deliverables.
- Ensuring HDR UK demonstrates impact by sharing the programme’s successes, lessons learned, and ongoing challenges.
- Integrating Big Data for Complex Disease with the other HDR UK Research Driver and Infrastructure programmes to develop tools and support the wider health data research community.
