Alero is a master’s graduate in bioinformatics from the University of Leicester with a strong interest in data analysis and its applications in improving health outcomes. She enjoys making sense of data and pulling out what matters, with extensive experience using tools like Python, R, and SQL. During this internship, Alero  is excited to contribute to developing training resources that support the use of routine healthcare systems data in clinical trials. She looks forward to deepening her understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space, learning from experts, and helping to create accessible, impactful training for the wider health data science community.

Alero is passionate about giving back to HDR UK and the wider health data research community that have helped shape her career journey. She hopes to help maintain the momentum for alumni engagement by contributing ideas and initiatives that create opportunities and ultimately advance the field of health data research.
