Aisha, a member of the public, has worked within patient and public involvement since 2016, first starting within the Young Adult Patient and Public Involvement (YAPPI) group. She is currently a medical student at the University of Leicester and is originally from Southampton.

Previously she has helped a regional research centre with organising the PPIE group, and she is also currently a member of the NHS Youth Forum and NHS Citizen’s Advisory Group. Aisha volunteers with a variety of community and national organisations as an advocate for health awareness and improvement. She is keen on increasing the number of voices and participation of people from all background throughout the health data research process.
