Adedeji S. Adeleye
Intern at UK Health Security Agency
My recent project, involving the design of a machine learning-based Breast Cancer Diagnostic system, served as a catalyst for me to delve into the realm of health data analytics. Armed with a Master’s in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics from the University of Bradford, UK, coupled with a BSc in Computer Science from Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria, I have honed the skills necessary to transform complex data into actionable insights to address significant healthcare challenges.
My drive for joining the Health Data Science Black Internship Programme stems from the unique opportunity it presents to work and learn within a real-world health data organization. This opportunity perfectly aligns with my career aspirations, as I am eager to leverage the knowledge gained to tackle issues directly impacting public health. I am committed to enhancing healthcare delivery and efficiency through data-driven solutions.
As I prepare to embark on this internship journey, I am enthusiastic about further refining my proficiency in data analytics and artificial intelligence. I eagerly anticipate gaining hands-on experience, collaborating with experts in the field, and contributing to projects with the potential to revolutionize healthcare outcomes. Outside of work, I find joy in playing football, exploring new destinations through travel, and indulging in enriching reads.
