Adam Okeahalam is a final-year BSc computer science student at the University of Exeter with a strong interest in data science, machine learning, and their applications in healthcare. He is particularly passionate about using AI to drive socially impactful innovation, especially where data-driven solutions can improve accessibility and equity in healthcare delivery.

This summer, Adam will be working with the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a data science intern, contributing to the Ambient AI project. This initiative focuses on using artificial intelligence to support clinical workflows and enhance patient care through ambient data technologies.

He enjoys working with Python and frequently uses libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and PyTorch to develop and experiment with models. His current interests include reinforcement learning and the ethical development of machine learning tools to support and strengthen healthcare systems.
