Health Data Research UK has created a new video to share its unique mission to unite the UK’s health data to enable discoveries that improve people’s lives.

Filmed at its One Institute event in June 2019, the video captures short interviews from colleagues who are working with Health Data Research UK.  Whilst discussing the exciting work being done around the six sites, they explain how the use of health data for research and innovation at scale can transform the understanding of disease and quickly turn this into benefits for the NHS and improve outcomes for patients.

The video highlights how Health Data Research UK is creating a new community that brings together scientists, technologists, health professionals, data experts, the public and patients into ‘One Institute’ to deliver these ambitions.

Health Data Research UK’s ‘One Institute’ strategy sets out its vision for the next 20 years – for large scale data and advanced analytics to benefit every patient interaction, clinical trial, biomedical discovery and enhance public health – alongside its five-year priorities and plans for 2019/20.
