Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) is delighted to welcome Patsy Wilkinson in a newly established role as Deputy Chair of the Board of Non-Executive Directors and Trustees.
Inaugural Deputy Chair Patsy Wilkinson joins the Board this month to provide vital support for the Chair, the Board and the wider Senior Leadership Team. This new role has been created to reflect the rapid growth of HDR UK and our ambitious strategy as the Institute moves into its sixth year.
“I am delighted to be joining the HDR UK as Deputy Chair of the Board. I believe strongly in the HDR UK mission and look forward to working with our colleagues and partners to drive future success,” says Patsy.
“On behalf of the whole Board I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Patsy, who’s impressive credentials and wealth of experience will help take HDR UK to the next level and realise the potential of health data now and in the future” says Julie Moore, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Following a senior government career in national security and defence, Patsy is now a non-executive director at Nominet, the UK domain registry, a trustee at the Royal British Legion and National Memorial Arboretum, and an adviser to several organisations.
Her extensive leadership experience includes data and analytics, science and innovation, and digital transformation. She has also helped many organisations in building an open and inclusive culture, with a focus on clear goals, trusted partnerships, and strong delivery.
