About the role

You will work on internationally collaborative projects in the University’s “Health Data research UK (HDR-UK)” facility, within the Brookes research team. You will also be expected to assist with shaping the technological and research activities of the group, in line with agreed general goals, by working as part of inter-group teams.

This will include contributing ideas and support to other members of the Brookes team and the wider HDR-UK members.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a computer science or relevant biology/health related scientific degree and software development experience. You will have knowledge of Unix/Linux-based operating systems and their administration as well as knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databased design and administration.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, ideally with experience of web application development technologies.
