About this event

This free online talk will provide a background to Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and explain the ecosystem in the UK where pseudonymised data is provided for research analysis within Trusted Research Environments (TREs).

Emily will describe several projects enhancing this ecosystem to provide researchers (academic and industrial) with new capabilities:

  • the capability to search for specific cohorts of patients across federated data (CO-CONNECT project)
  • to work with routinely collected radiological imaging data linked to health records from the whole Scottish population (PICTURES programme)
  • to train ML and AI models within TREs (GRAIMATTER project)
  • scalable cloud-based TREs (TREEHOOSE project)
  • to access data through HDR Data Hubs (Alleviate data Hub and the wider Hub network).

To take part simply click on the registration button and you will be admitted to the TEAMS event.

This event is a collaboration with HDR UK Talent and Training and Cambridge Spark, a health data science apprenticeship provider, as part of our commitment to promoting apprenticeships.
