About the event
Health Data Research UK – the national institute for health data science – is hosting this free, virtual conference ‘Health Data Science in the COVID-19 Era’ to showcase the vital impact of health data in combatting this global pandemic.
The conference is open to scientists, researchers, technologists, front-line clinicians, patients and the public, and data custodians who are involved and interested in the urgent insights needed to respond to COVID-19. We are building on Health Data Research UK’s annual ‘One Institute’ conference, to demonstrate open science and highlight how research efforts both in the UK.
HDR UK annual prizes for the HDR UK community
To celebrate achievements in health data research across the HDR UK community, three awards will be announced at the event.
- Team of the year
- Impact of the year – for digital resources, algorithms, publications, case studies and more
- Best COVID-19 lightning talk – for early career researchers, innovators and technologists. Deadline extended to 10am on Friday 29 May!
We are inviting nominations for Team of the Year and outputs for Impact of the Year, and for early career researchers, innovators and technologists to apply to deliver a lightning talk, which will be voted on live during the conference.
