Health data can be used in lots of different ways. Scientists might use health data from the NHS to develop new treatments and understand diseases. A group of friends might use health data from their fitness watches to compete in a step challenge. An artist might use health data from a community survey as inspiration for a mural. What could you use health data for?

Last year, Health Data Research UK launched Take the Lead, a small grants programme supporting community organisations across the UK to lead their own health data activities.

In our (late) summer edition of our Let’s Talk Health Data series, you’ll have a chance to hear from some of the awardees about the creative ways they used health data to inspire and connect their communities.

In this session, you will:

  • Find out about community-led health data engagement
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions directly to community leaders

About Let’s Talk Health Data webinars

Health data is powerful. From it, patterns can be drawn about the benefits of certain treatments, approaches to care and our chances of disease. Our new, seasonal Let’s Talk Health Data webinars for HDR UK Voices explore ways that people, from scientists to community groups, are using data in different ways to improve health and wellbeing. Each webinar includes a range of speakers giving short presentations about their work with health data, with time for audience Q&A at the end.
