Info Webinar: HDR UK Black Internship Programme Host Organisations
HDR UK is seeking hosts for its highly successful Black Internship Programme which is now heading into its sixth year.
The programme is proving an effective way to help tackle under-representation of Black people in health data science and to introduce organisations throughout the field to fresh talent.
This free online event lets potential hosts find out more and to join the dozens of other organisations from industry, the NHS, the third sector, government bodies and academia that have been providing internship opportunities.
What to expect as a host
The internships are paid, well-structured opportunities for interns to carry out real-world health data research. They last eight weeks and the next ones will take place in the summer of 2026.
You can get an idea of what’s involved and the benefits from this page.
The interns will be Black students or recent graduates from a university in the UK and is most suited to those with a degree in maths, biological sciences, and engineering or computer sciences.
Hosts receive extensive support from HDR UK – which now has five years of experience in delivering a programme that benefits interns and hosts alike.
