Black Internship Programme 2023 host organisations
We are working together with our host organisations to help transform the prospects of, and provide opportunities for, early career Black people in the UK to flourish in their future health data science careers through our Health Data Science Black Internship Programme.
Host organisations in our 2023 programme
We are pleased to work with organisations in health data across a wide range of sectors including academic, charities, civil service, industry and the NHS.
Mary Gregory, Deputy Director, Data Science Campus, Office for National Statistics, said:
“We were delighted to host Brian and Mustapha at the Office for National Statistics’ Data Science Campus. We learned a lot from their experiences of healthcare in their home countries, which was particularly relevant to the international development team they were working in.
“We also benefit from their contributions to our data science work and welcomed the opportunity to support their work through the complete data science cycle; from identifying the problem to building analytical solutions and presenting their findings.”
