HDR UK Conference 2025: FAQs during the event
Whether you're joining us in-person in Glasgow or online for HDR UK Conference, we're looking forward to welcoming you to two days of celebrating the latest advances in health data science that are improving people's lives.

Q: What is the address for the conference venue?
A: The venue address is:
Scottish Event Campus, Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G3 8YW. Directions and travel information can be found on the SEC website.
Q: Where can I find the conference agenda?
A: The full agenda is available on our website: View the conference agenda.
Q: How do I register on arrival?
A: Please go to the registration desk with the QR code you received in your confirmation email. Your QR code can also be found in the RingCentral app. Staff will provide your badge and materials.
Q: How do I log into the conference app and access the event platform?
A: How to log into the event platform:
- Download the RingCentral Events app (available on iOS and Android) or visit the RingCentral login page.
- Sign in using the email address you registered with and your account password, or a One Time Passcode will be sent to your mailbox.
- Navigate to your Profile Dashboard.
- Your home page displays upcoming, live, and past events you have registered for. Click on HDR UK Conference 2025.
- You will be redirected to the event landing page. To access the event, click Register or Enter event.

Q: I can’t log into the conference app – what should I do?
A: Double-check you are using the email you registered with. You may also need to speak to your organisation’s IT team to unblock your company access. If you are still having issues, visit the help desk at the venue or contact events@hdruk.ac.uk.
Q: I’m having trouble viewing live streams on the RingCentral app – what should I do?
A: We’d recommend anyone joining virtually to log in to RingCentral via browser to access all virtual features, as the app is more focused on the in-person experience.
If you were registered to attend in person but are looking to view the online live stream in the RingCentral app, but are having trouble with access or getting a “The session ID is invalid” error message, some of the virtual attendee features may be disabled for you. You will be able to access the live stream in browser.

Q: Is Wi-Fi available at the venue?
A: Yes, free Wi-Fi is available. Please join the network: SEC Visitor WiFi.
Q: Will food and drinks be provided?
A: Yes, refreshments and lunch will be provided each day. There is also a drinks reception after all speaker sessions on Day 1. Please see the conference agenda for timings.
If you indicated dietary requirements at registration, these have been passed on to our caterers. Please speak to catering staff if you need any assistance.
Q: Is there a cloakroom available?
A: A cloakroom is available outside the Lomond Auditorium on the main concourse during conference hours.
Q: I can’t find my session room – what should I do?
A: Ask a volunteer or visit the help desk. Maps are also available on the venue website and signage is provided around the venue.
Q: I want to go to more than one parallel session or need to leave the event early – will I miss out?
A: All sessions will be recorded and available to view after the event. You will receive instructions via email once the videos are ready to watch.
Q: I need some quiet time – where can I go?
A: We have a quiet space (in room Etive) and prayer room (in room Fyne) available, for anyone who may need some peace and quiet during the event. Please visit the help desk if you need help finding these.
These spaces are not to be used for taking calls or meetings.
Q: What should I do if I have accessibility requirements?
A: The venue is fully accessible. Please speak to a member of staff at the help desk if you require additional support. Attendees that have notified us upon registration of any accessibility needs have been contacted.

Q: Will online sessions have live captions?
A: Yes, live captions and a transcript of the streams will be available in the RingCentral event platform.
Q: I can no longer come along – what should I do?
A: We’re sad you can no longer join us! Please let us know by contacting events@hdruk.ac.uk.
You will still have access to the online event platform, if you’d like to join virtually.
